How do I install RAM on a sony vaio micro laptop?
I am trying to upgrade the RAM on a sony vaio micro laptop, and I am having trouble. I believe the RAM module is underneath the keyboard, but after removing every screw I could find underneath the computer. I am wondering how to remove the keyboard, so thanks in advance for any help!
My Sony VAIO has 2 hard drives but always defaults to the C drive?
I have a Sony Vaio which is about 6 years old. It has 2 hard drives but it seems to always default to the C drive. The D drive is practically empty except for some photos that I manually saved to that drive…but the computer is constantly telling me that there is low disk space and wants to to remove files from the C drive? Is there a way to tell it to look at the D drive for room?

My sony vaio Laptop Battery is not charging when it’s plugged in from a power source. What should i do to fix?
i have a sony vaio laptop – 2.5 years old and when i plug in the cable from the power source it says that the computer is running on AC power, and when i take the power source out, the laptop immediately shuts down. Does this mean that my battery is broken?
it’s only been happening recently, usually when i take the cable out of my laptop i have about 1-1.5 hours of battery life

How to replace Sony Vaio Laptop Screen?
I bought a Sony Vaio Laptop for 500$ and its LCD is broke. Whats the best way to get it replaced cheaply and what are different alternatives i have? I tried out with couple of repair works and they quoted around 400$ which almost equals the laptop cost itself. What are the other alternatives available?
What kind of Memory Ram does Sony Vaio PCV Desktops models Use?
A friend of mine has a Sony Vaio Desktop P4 2.4ghz(PCV…..dont know exactly the model)
and i want to buy him Memory Ram, but I don’t know what kind of Memory Ram this computers Use. Also i can’t go back to my friends house and he doesn’t know about computers.
Those are old Desktop computers, so I’m Guessing they Use like
DDR PC-2700 Ram but I don’t know exactly what is the Stock Memory Ram they have.

CDROM drive not working on my Sony Vaio Laptop. Need to find alternate way to loan up Windows?
The CDROM drive on my Sony Vaio 505DX is not working. My operating system is not working and I need to load up another one. How else can I load it up? I don’t have a floppy drive. I do have an external hard drive. Will that work? Thanks. NF
Sony Vaio Laptop Turns Off When Power Plug is Removed?
Hello,
My Sony Vaio Laptop turns off when I unplug the power going into the computer. Are there ways to remedy this situation beyond having to buy a new battery? The price is a bit too expensive for me to purchase a replacement battery. Any help would be most appreciated!

Today I took my SONY VAIO desktop to Fry’s for the 3rd time for service/repairs, because my desktop freezes and when I reformatted it it basically just made my screen go black. One of my friends WAS a computer technician and recommended me a ANTEC or OCZ power supply unit (PSU) and he doesn’t know about the fan. What do you guys suggest/recommend? I have a SONY VAIO VGC-RB42G.
